Magic Gadgets and Gizmos!
Within magic, there are lots of things to learn and buy, and all kinds of reasons for doing so. Sometimes we want to add a new piece of magic to an act that makes us a living – other times, we might just REALLY want to know how a trick is done. Both are good. Often, finding out how a trick works leads to disappointment, on some level at least. I often hear people talking about a trick that I love, and perhaps even do, by saying ‘well, it’s only rough and smooth’ or ‘it’s only a folding coin’ or whatever. Most of the time, the methods just aren’t as clever as you think they are going to be. Sometimes though, the method can be genius, and sometimes even the best part of the trick!
